Sadhana - The PAth within
Neohumanist ideals are not just intellectual, they have to be internalized and realized. This reset of our minds, away from narrow sensory centered thinking and reconnection with the universal self, can be gradually achieved to retraining of our thoughts.
Sadhana, the Sanskrit word for 'effort and discipline,' is a process of redirecting the mental force from the external to the inner self. There is no real social transformation without a corresponding or even deeper inner change. The regular practice of meditation makes us look at the world differently and interact with the world differently and shape our society in new ways.
A society as a whole can benefit from a greater percentage of people doing sadhana.
At the Neohumanist Institute - Taiwan we have different programs to promote sadhana practice:

- The YES program, Yoga Education in Schools. This program offers weekly, or in some cases daily yoga and meditation classes, in some schools from grade one to six!
- Weekly meditation program at Juei-Ai Yoga center
- Winter and Summer meditation camps for children and teenagers
- Sadhana camps for adults
